If you live in Texas, and it happens to be July, you are currently engulfed in the true dog days of summer. And I mean hot, slow days, filled with bugs and humidity. You would think that after 17 years of living here, (yes, hard to believe)that I would be used to this. I find that all I really want to do is escape the heat, go somewhere where the weather is "normal". This summer I feel sort of "stuck". I don't really feel like going outside, and the kids don't feel like going to the pool. So, we are chilling inside, where the constant hum of the air-conditioner reminds me how fortunate I am to have it.
